“The curators of this Spike 150 exhibition knew of Karen’s award-winning series of paintings of SLC landmarks, including Trax and train depot paintings. They invited her to create two paintings for this show celebrating the Sesquicentennial of the joining of the Transcontinental Railroad. Check out this show at the Rio Gallery, with varied media and over 30 artists, sponsored by Utah Division of Arts & Museums. The exhibition continues Mon – Friday, 8am – 5pm through June 4.
