Among Utah's landscape painters, Phyllis Horne is exceptional in her strength at bringing to life all four seasons of the western landscape. Although she is best known for her garden scenes, she is also a skilled painter of fall and winter scenes. Her autumn scenes blaze with color. Her winter scenes sparkle with contrasts. And all capture the cycles and poetry of trees.
