The Poetry of Trees
September 16 - December 23, 2011
"The Poetry of Trees" brings focus to this award-winning artist's gift
for capturing the character and power of trees. Not one to paint trees by
formula, Phyllis Horne is attentive to the expressiveness of trees,
their individual branches, and the way they create gesture.
Whether solitary setinals, or in groves, her trees have presence, like actors on a stage.
